We are saddened to hear that Indy Flight Training has lost the leaseback on many of its rental aircraft, including all Cessna 172s.  Whenever there are challenges in the general aviation community it is unfortunate for everyone – pilots, flight schools, and FBOs alike.  We hope that Indy Flight Training is able to secure new aircraft for their flight school and rental program.  During this transition time, Eagle Flyers and Montgomery Aviation would like to ease the burden on pilots looking for aircraft in the Indianapolis area to fly.  For the next two months, until the end of July, we will completely waive the membership transfer fee for those coming from Indy Flight Training to Eagle Flyers.  Thus, you will only incur the $39 monthly fee – no upfront fees.  Checkout requirements vary by aircraft, but for a Cessna 172 it’s a simple one-hour checkout with one of our Certified Flight Instructors.

Eagle Flyers maintains a diverse fleet of aircraft including a Cessna 162 Skycatcher, four Cessna 172s, a Cessna 182, a Cirrus SR20, two Cirrus SR22s, and a Beechcraft Bonanza for rent.  To learn more about our aircraft rental fleet, click HERE.

Once again, we wish Indy Flight Training the best and hope they are able to resolve their aircraft leaseback challenges.  We hope to ease the burden on those wishing to fly by waiving these fees.

Please call Eagle Flyers at 317-769-4487 for more information or visit Eagle Flyers.
