As you may know, Eagle Flyers and Montgomery Aviation have a strong
relationship with Cirrus Aircraft. We are a Certified Cirrus Training Center, have a Certified Cirrus Service Center, and rent out three Cirrus Aircraft. A Cirrus SR20, an SR22 w/ FIKI Certification and Garmin Perspective Avionics, and a Cirrus SR22 with the new Avidyne Release 9.
Additionally, if you are interested in learning more about Cirrus or even potentially purchasing a Cirrus aircraft - we hope you'll come talk to us. We have sold many over the years and are excited about an announcement Cirrus will be making later this week to introduce their Generation 5 aircraft. The new aircraft will increase its gross weight by nearly 200 pounds, have improved landing gear, spar, flap support, and a new parachute system among other improvements.

This Saturday! January 19 - Eagle Flyers Fly-Out
 Several of you made it out in December to our "flying-low" trip to Cracker Barrel on Michigan Road. We'll try to get airborne in January and head to Sky Galley Restaurant at Cincinnati's historic Lunken Field.
We plan to meet at Indy Exec (TYQ) at 9:30am to match planes, pilots, and passengers and take-off around 10am. Contact Pat Gaston with questions

February 9 - Hangar Hawks: Meet the Examiners & Flying with the iPad Part II
 At the end of September, Hangar Hawks held a very well attended event with Indy Air Traffic Control and a session on Flying with the iPad. We got lots of great feedback and are committed to continuing events like this going forward. Our next one will be on Saturday, February 9th from 8:00 - 12:00pm and will feature two topics:
- Meet the Examiners - You will have the opportunity to hear from and ask questions of four local FAA designated examiners on the Sport, Private Pilot, Instrument, and Commercial ratings (and any others you might be interested in). They'll give insights into their check-ride process and allow you the opportunity to figure out what certificate is next for you. This will be an exciting and unique opportunity to get insight into the check-ride process. Come even if you aren't training and learn valuable information to improve your piloting skills.
- Flying with the iPad Part II - Our first event featuring Flying with the iPad received such a great response and so many additional requests for information we thought it would be great to come back and dive deeper into questions about the different apps, new technologies (including the iPad mini), and spend more time answering your questions about flying with the iPad.
This event is being put on in coordination with the FAASTeam and WINGS credit is being offered. Registration is available online and recommended as seats are limited.

Civil Air Patrol Monthly Meetings
 The Civil Air Patrol has moved a unit to Indy Exec. It is the Indianapolis Executive Airport Senior Squadron. The unit is just getting started with new members, but will be an exciting addition to the aviation community at Indy Exec. Please feel free to come and check out CAP at any of their regular meetings. They are on the 2nd & 4th Thursdays of the month in the Indy Exec Conference Room from 6pm - 8pm - However, the first January meeting was moved to this Thursday, January 17th. HCAA Monthly Meetings
 Every month the Hamilton County Airport Authority (HCAA) meets to discuss the Indianapolis Executive Airport. The public is welcome to attend. Meetings are held the first Wednesday of the month at 6:30pm in the Commissioners Courtroom of the Hamilton County Government and Judicial Center. The address is One Hamilton County Square, Noblesville, IN.
