Thankfully, the Spring and Summer months mean more opportunities to come out to the airport and fly. With that, we have a few reminders for you:
- We are missing several Eagle Flyers owned headsets. If you borrowed one and then accidentally put it in your flight bag after your flight - please check and bring it back as soon as possible. Ensuring headsets don't walk off is just one way you can help keep the costs of flying down for everyone.
- When flying the Cessna 162 Skycatcher - please make sure you triple check that the "Master" switch is OFF when you are done flying.
- Make sure you carefully pre-flight for bird's nests in the engine cowling.
- Hot Starting the Engine - With the advent of warmer weather, starting the Skyhawks if they're already hot is a little more of a problem. Remember, if the engine is already warm, DO NOT use the fuel pump before starting the engine. Just start the engine with the mixture in the lean position and the push it to rich as the engine starts. Using the fuel pump on a hot engine will flood it and result in an engine which does not want to start.

As always - we'd like to get rolling from TYQ at 10:00AM - so please meet before then so we can match up rides and people. If you are going and have extra spots, or need a spot - please contact Pat Gaston and we'll pair you up.
